The Dr. Biegel office now offers the FREE services of the Family PACT program made available to certain citizens of our surrounding communities who are of childbearing age – both women and men. Family PACT stands for Planning, Access, Care and Treatment and was established by the Federal and State of Cal governments to provide free services to those who cannot afford them. This special program provides no-cost family planning services to low-income men and women, including teens. Many doctors and clinics all over California are part of the Family PACT program, including Dr. Susan Biegel. So we are ready to serve the diverse populations living in our neighborhoods near and around the Inland Empire. Family PACT can help you:
- Prevent an unplanned pregnancy
- Protect your reproductive healthy by helping you take care of yourself so that you can have a healthy baby when you are ready.
- Learn more about birth control methods.
- Get the education, counseling, and treatment you need.
Who is eligible?
Women, men, and teens able to become pregnant or cause a pregnancy can get Family PACT services at no cost if they are low-income California residents. You may qualify for Family PACT:
- If you have no medical insurance or can’t get Medi-Cal.
- If you have insurance, but it doesn’t cover family planning or birth control methods.
- If you have insurance, but you haven’t met your deductible.
- If you have Medi-Cal with Share of Cost of but you have not met your Share of Cost.
- If you have Medi-Cal but it doesn’t cover family planning.
- If you have insurance or Medi-Cal, but you need to keep family planning services confidential.
